At the most recent Working Women’s Wednesday event this past week at Claim 52 The Abbey, we happen upon a very intriguing booth riddled with bras of all colors. We were soon introduced to the wonderful Amy who explained to us that the bras were part of a bra-decorating contest to benefit the Oregon Cancer Foundation.
Our chat with Amy soon revealed the many wonders of the Oregon Cancer Foundation and Bras for a Cure. She explained that all proceeds benefit Lane County residents, providing emotional support, financial assistance, and even classes and consultations. We were instantly hooked! In no time we had our bra selected and were formulating a game plan!
If you want to get in on the voting action and support this wonderful cause, check out Bras for a Cure on Facebook! Voting begins October 19th and ends the 31st – each vote costs a dollar and you may vote as many times as you like, or for however much your heart desires! Better yet, if you’re in the neighborhood you can check out all the beautiful bras in person at Dandelions Flowers & Gifts, 1710 Chambers St, during regular business hours.
We’d love for you to come support a good cause and check out our very own Hatchbytes Bra for Cure! You can vote for our carefully crafted bra here! Thanks for the support!
“Keep An Eye Out For Breast Cancer”
Update: On Wednesday, November 4th we attended the Oregon Cancer Foundation’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Breakfast. Hatchbytes was honored to receive recognition for our design as “Best Support of a Cause”! We received a beautiful flower arrangement from Dandelions Flowers & Gifts, along with a gift card!! Thank you so much for all of the people who voted for our bra and to Dandelion Flowers & Gifts for the wonderful arrangement 🙂
